THE Territory’s best real estate agents have been recognised in the Real Estate Institute of the NT awards on Saturday night.

He said pandemic restrictions saw agencies get creative with open home showings and auctions.

“The pandemic year has provided us with quite a large boost in sales and rentals,” he said.
“The later part of this year has been quite exciting for our industry.
“It (the pandemic) created a need for exploring new technologies to do the work that they do.
“Our Territory real estate professionals proved to be quite apt in adopting technologies.”
Taking out the four agency of the year categories were; large residential agency of the year Real Estate Central, medium residential agency of the year O’Donoghues First National, small residential agency of the year East Arnhem Real Estate and commercial agency of the year Knight Frank NT.
Mr Kilian said just a point divided the winner, Real Estate Central and runner-up Elders Real Estate in the large agency award.
Meanwhile, the winner of the small residential agency of the year – East Arnhem Real Estate – reclaimed the title from an agency in Katherine.
