Men rushed to hospital after two car smash off Warrego Highway

Two cars were involved in a crash just off the Warrego Highway east of Toowoomba on Saturday afternoon, January 21.

Two young men sustained minor injuries after their car crashed with another vehicle at Gatton just off the Warrego Highway.

A police spokesman said following the crash, officers were conducting traffic control along Eastern Drive and Gatton Laidley Road at 1.30pm – traffic delays were expected.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said two men in their 20s travelling in the same car were injured during the crash.

“One sustained a head injury, the other an arm injury,” she said.

“They were transported to the Toowoomba hospital in a stable condition.”

No one in the other vehicle was injured.
