A lightning Jetstar sale has tickets to the Territory up for grabs for as low as $89.
The Territory sale starts today and travellers have four days to take advantage of Jetstar’s latest sale and nab flights out of the Territory.
Jetstar has slashed fares for routes between the Territory and the east coast.
With 15,000 discounted fares on the market, travellers will be able to snag a flight between Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Ayers Rock Airport for $89.
Ayers Rock Airport is a stone throw from Uluru, a Territory – and Australian – icon, which was recently named the fourth best spot in the world to see a sunset.
Sydneysiders will also be able to get to The Rock for $99, while a number of routes out of Darwin also had their prices slashed.
Tickets from Darwin to Adelaide start from as low as $129.
Brisbane to Darwin is also on sale for $129, while Sydney to Darwin tickets are available for $151.
Darwin to Melbourne (Tullamarine) are on sale for $155.
Gold Coast will start from $109.
The sales comes as Jetstar announced a suite of new seasonal direct routes between the Top End capital and other Australian capital cities.
Only a week earlier, Airnorth announced direct flights between Alice Springs and Cairns, in what is shaping up to be a big year for tourism in the Territory.
The first flight lands on April 14.
The service will operate three times a week using Airnorth’s modern Embraer E190 jet fleet, which carries 100 passengers.
Promotional one way sales fares kicked off at $299.
Northern Territory Minister for Trade, Business and Asian Relations Robyn Cahill said the new service would add more than 30,000 seats between Alice Springs and Cairns annually.
It comes hot on the heels of the news an additional 60,000 seats a year would flow into Darwin with the resumption of AirAsia flights in March.
The sale is further good news in the wake of an NT News aviation campaign which has seen a number of major announcements and the presence in Darwin of key aviation executives from Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin at an NT News aviation roundtable.
The NT News Aviation Access Forum, also included Minister for Trade, Business, and Asian Relations Robyn Cahill and key business leaders.
The Jetstar flight sale ends Friday, February 14, unless sold out.
Travel dates include March to early December 2025.
