Police say two dogs missing after a Beenleigh crash could be roaming around northern Gold Coast suburbs.
They are calling for the public’s help to find the two pooches who ran away after a crash about 3.30pm Sunday.
A ute and sedan collided on the Pacific Motorway southbound near Beenleigh, police said.
Two dogs, a red heeler named Storm and a rhodesian cross mastiff named Rosco, were in the back of the ute at the time of the crash.
Both vehicles rolled during the collision.
No-one was injured, including the dogs.
The animals were last seen running southbound on the Pacific Motorway towards the Stapylton Jacobs Well off ramp.
They may be in surrounding areas of Alberton, Stapylton or Beenleigh.
Anyone who spots the dogs should phone local council animal management.
Those who may have dash cam vision of the crash are urged to phone police.
