A stolen Holden Commodore has allegedly slammed into two other cars on the northern Gold Coast leaving one person in hospital.

The three-vehicle crash at Coomera happened about 5.35pm on Monday at the intersection of Azure Way and Taurus Crescent.

A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokesman said paramedics treated a male patient at the scene.

He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

A Queensland Police Service (QPS) spokesman said a Holden Commodore, which is believed to have caused the crash, was reported stolen from Southport some time between Sunday night and early Monday morning.

No one was with the vehicle when emergency services responded to the crash.

The dog squad searched nearby streets but was unable to locate the occupants of the Commodore, according to the QPS spokesman.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have information on the crash or dashcam/CCTV footage to call Police Link on 131 444.
