A man has pleaded guilty to raping homeless women in two separate Surfers Paradise parks.
Lewi Jimi Nirigi, 21, appeared in Southport District Court via videolink on Thursday, pleading guilty to five counts of rape, two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count each of assault with intent to commit rape and common assault.
The court was told the sentencing would have to be delayed as a psychological report was being completed.
He will be sentenced on October 4.
Nirigi raped a woman in Macintosh Park, Surfers Paradise on February 17 last year.
He then raped a homeless woman in a Surfers Paradise park just off Cavill Avenue in May last year.
He was on bail at the time.
