A crime scene has been declared after a Gold Coast home erupted into flames.
Queensland Fire and Emergency services were called to a fire on Fannon Court in Pimpama at about 5am on Saturday.
It was understood a motorbike on a trailer burst into flames before it spread to the house.
Witnesses said they saw a neighbour run into the house to save a dog which was inside.
Bystanders attempted to douse the flames before fire crews arrived.
Paramedics were on scene and reported no one was in side the house at the time of the fire.

Gold Coast police are treating the fire as suspicious and have declared a crime scene.
