A Gold Coast mum of two has made a global splash stocking her brand in Sephora South East Asia while eyeing off the biggest cosmetic retailer in the United States. SEE HOW

One local company is dominating the global cosmetic market having just launched in retail giant Sephora South East Asia.

Esmi Skin Minerals founder Evette McEwan confirmed the Gold Coast made and manufactured skincare brand is now in negotiations with Sephora United States and Ulta Beauty – the largest beauty retailer in America.

“It was a big process going through the regulations and making sure everything’s compliant – now we’re in the process of doing regulations for our United States launch which is really exciting,” Ms McEwan said.

More than 11 years in the making, the former skin therapist said the start up has been a journey – but she’s never had that ‘pinch me’ moment.

“I don’t ever feel like I need to pinch myself or anything because I’ve been there every step of the way,” she said.

“There’s many amazing brands out there, but what I find so exciting is to think there might be people out there who have tired lots of different things and nothing has worked – we’re going to be able to now reach more people and teach them how to be kind to their skin while not treating skin types, but skin concerns.”

The Gold Coast mother of two said she had a dream – and now her goal was bringing her skin philosophy to the world.
