A teenager has been charged following a street disturbance which left three police officers in hospital.
Gold Coast police were called to an alleged assault at a tram stop in Broadbeach around 10pm on Friday.
CCTV footage shows a group of teenagers south of platform two when they began to fight with other members of the public.
Multiple juveniles were reportedly filming the incident when a 39-year-old man approached the group to try and help a member of the public
Police allege a 15-year-old girl assaulted the man, leaving him with multiple injuries to his face.
CCTV footage shows police officers arresting the girl while the man was assessed by paramedics and taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
While in custody police allege she became agitated and assaulted three officers which included a male Sergeant, a male Constable and a female Constable.
The three police officers were taken to Pindara Private Hospital after they allegedly suffered face and body injuries from the girl.
The 15-year-old was then charged with three counts of serious assault police, was denied bail and is due to appear at Southport Childrens Court.
Another five teenagers, aged between 14 and 16 were “dealt” with under the Youth Justice Act.
Police said the investigations were ongoing.
