A North Geelong fencer and serial dangerous driver has once again fronted court.

Brandon Juresko appeared before the Geelong Magistrates Court on Monday in relation to two dangerous driving incidents late last year.

Juresko was spotted swerving and colliding with road barriers while driving with a mate on Portarlington Rd on December 28.

Other motorists reported the reckless driving to police.

The erratic driving continued onto Swanston St in Geelong where the black Nissan Navara ute mounted the median strip before smashing into another car at an intersection.

Juresko kept driving for some time before stopping on the wrong side of Western Beach Rd.

Police cars cut off the ute and officers arrested the two men inside the vehicle.

Officers described Juresko as drug affected, citing he was “sweaty” and “fading in and out of consciousness.”

Juresko was unable to be breath tested due to his level of intoxication.

He was taken to hospital for observation and drug tested.

Meth was present in his blood and it was also found in his wallet after the arrest.

This was the second driving incident for Juresko over a two-month period.

A motorist spotted a man who appeared to be falling asleep driving a black Nissan Navara ute on November 11, 2023.

Police were notified and pulled over the ute with Juresko behind the wheel.

Juresko recorded a BAC of 0.128 and an oral fluid test revealed MDMA was also present in his system.

Following these incidents, Juresko spent 32 days in custody before being granted bail on January 29.

On Monday, he pleaded guilty to offences including drink and drug driving, unlicensed driving and contravening a corrections order.

His lawyer requested a deferred sentence.

Magistrate Simon Gutherie said it was “sheer luck” Juresko or someone else was not seriously hurt during the two incidents.

He also noted Juresko’s serious prior driving history.

Juresko was sentenced in March last year for failing to stop when a passenger stepped out of his car and fatally hit his head.

He was placed on a nine month community correction order and lost his licence for four years.

He was in breach of both of these sentence conditions during the driving offences which took place in November and December.

Mr Gutherie accepted the defence’s request for a deferred sentence which has been scheduled for April 24.
