People can vent their frustrations at a new Drysdale business that provides items like mugs and plates to smash.
Breakout Hub, a new story which opened on Saturday, features three smash rooms and plans on opening two escape rooms in the coming weeks.
Owner Katie Cruwys said she decided to bring the rooms to Drysdale to give locals an alternative form of entertainment.
“In a smash room you come in, we brief you on what to do, what not to do, get you in full PPE from head to toe and provide each person with a crate of breakables, mugs, plates, glasses, that kind of thing,” Ms Cruwys said.
“You can also get things like TVs, microwaves, printers, that kind of stuff and when you head into the room you can choose your coloured lighting.
“You can hook up your phone to a bluetooth speaker which is in each room as well and turn it up as loud as you want.
“You got a choice of a sledgehammer, crowbar, a baseball bat, and some golf clubs, and you pretty much just throw things and smash things.”
Mr Cruwys said Breakout Hub was also looking at introducing an adults only and all age escape room.
“We will have two escape rooms upstairs, one will hopefully be open in the next three weeks and that one will be 18 plus, and it will be pitch black,” she said.
“You won’t be able to see your hands in front of you so that’s more of an adult one.
“However, the second escape room which will be coming not long after the first one and that one will be all ages.”
Breakout Hub is open Monday to Thursday from 11am until 9pm, Friday from 11am to 11pm, Saturday from 10am to 11pm and Sunday 10am to 9pm.
It is located at 9/93 Murradoc Road, Drysdale.
