Trains resume after Geelong line suspended due to equipment fault

Trains are resuming from Geelong to Melbourne on Monday after the line was suspended due to a track fault, leaving commuters scrambling to get to work on time.

Trains are resuming from Geelong to Melbourne on Monday after the line was suspended, leaving commuters scrambling to get to work on time.

The Geelong line between Lara and Wyndam Vale was suspended due to an equipment fault, which has now been repaired.

The Department of Transport warned passengers their journey time may be extended by 30 minutes as trains get back into position for the normal timetable.
