A woman was trapped and three others were injured after a truck and car collide on the Old Bruce Highway at Traveston.
Queensland Ambulance Service said two men and two women had to be taken to hospital after the 7.46pm crash on Thursday.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said two crews arrived on scene about 8.10pm and used hydraulic cutting gear to remove to people from the car.
She said they were out of the car by 8.15pm and with paramedics being assessed.
“One female patient was initially encapsulated and required extrication from the vehicle,’’ the QAS said.
“She sustained hip and pelvic injuries and was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.”
Two other stable patients were taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
One other patient was taken to Gympie Hospital also in a stable condition.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said police were alerted by QAS about the crash. Officers left the scene just after 9pm.
It comes after a man was fighting for life after a crash at Watalgan in the Bundaberg region on Thursday.
