Two lanes are closed after a multi-vehicle crash northbound on the M3 at Greenslopes during peak hour on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the five-car crash near exit 5, at 4.30pm.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said two lanes were blocked northbound on the motorway, and one crew remained on the scene.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternative route.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said one patient has neck pain and all other patients appear uninjured.

“Minor crash, nose to tail,” a spokeswoman said.

In a separate crash in Brisbane’s south, a truck and car crash is causing major delays in Rocklea along the Ipswich Motorway.

The left lane northbound towards Moorooka is blocked and motorists are advised to expect delays and proceed with caution.

A QAS spokeswoman said due to the high impact crash a man in his 20s has been transported to hospital in a stable condition.
