A teenager has sustained a serious leg injury after the motorbike he was riding crashed into a guardrail.

An Ipswich teenager has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after the motorbike he was riding struck a guardrail on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened on Swanbank Coal Rd, Willowbank, about 3.30pm.
The male rider, aged in his teens, was treated at the scene for a serious leg injury, as well as more mild head and chest lacerations.
He was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane in a serious but stable condition.
An ambulance spokeswoman said that while the specific circumstances leading up to the crash are not known, it appeared as though the teenager had come off the bike after colliding with a guard rail.
Elsewhere, another patient was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Herston after a motorcycle crash in the Mt Coot-tha foothills.
That rider was listed in a stable condition after the incident on Gap Creek Rd about 3.30pm.
