Seven injured in multi-vehicle Clem 7 crash
A crash in Brisbane’s Clem 7 tunnel southbound has injured seven people and caused lengthy delays for peak-hour commuters.

A crash in the Clem 7 tunnel caused peak hour commutes to blow out on Thursday evening adding 20 minute delays for southbound motorists.
Just after 5pm police and fire crews were called to the Clem 7 tunnel near Woolloongabba after a multi-vehicle crash in the southbound left lane.
As Queensland Fire and Emergency cleared the scene police implemented traffic control and urged motorists to avoid the area and expect delays.
Queensland Ambulance said they assessed seven patients for minor injuries on scene with one requiring transportation to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

Tolling brand Linkt confirmed the crash had been cleared by 6.45pm, with traffic conditions back to normal.

Meanwhile, commuters on the Pacific Motorway faced additional delays of nearly 40 minutes in recurring congestion toward the Gold Coast, while mMotorists avoiding tolls did not fare much better with delays also on the M3 and Coronation Drv.
