Man dies in motorbike, truck crash in Brisbane’s east

A man has died after the motorbike he was riding collided with a truck in Brisbane’s east.

A man has died after the motorbike he was riding collided with a truck at Wynnum in Brisbane’s east Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Pritchard St and Wynnum North Rd about 7.15am.

The motorcycle rider, a 74-year-old Wynnum man, died at the scene.

The truck driver, a 58-year-old Wynnum man, was not physically injured.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or people with relevant vision to contact police, with investigations ongoing.

The driver of the truck was visibly shaken and was seen being consoled at the scene.

The Wynnum crash comes after a serious crash in Brisbane’s west overnight that left a young woman fighting for life.

There were also grave fears for a man after his car crashed into a pole in Maryborough on Sunday.
