Brisbane traffic: Serious crashes, widespread flooding cause major delays on South East Queensland roads
A series of crashes and widespread flooding have closed dozens of roads across South East Queensland, triggering major delays.

South East Queensland commuters are facing chaos on the roads this morning due to dozens of flood-related closures and a series of crashes.
There are major delays on the Ipswich Motorway following a five-vehicle crash northbound at Wacol about 8.10am, with one person taken to Mater Adults Hospital in a stable condition.
Motorists are also been warned of delays of up to 14 minutes on the Gateway Motorway and 10 minutes on Coronation Drive.
There are more than 200 road closures across the state - with many in south east Queensland where flood warnings/watches are still in place. More rain is forecast today.

Traffic is also slow moving through the inner-city including Milton, Indooroopilly and Greenslopes.
Meanwhile, dozens of roads across South East Queensland are closed due to flooding, including the Old Pacific Motorway, Bromelton Street in Beaudesert and Mount Alford Road in Mount Alford.
Earlier, the D’Aguilar Hwy was closed in both directions at Bracalba in the Moreton Bay region following a two-vehicle crash just before 6.30am.
Six people were involved, with two taken to Caboolture Hospital and another two taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. All were in a stable condition.
