A Police investigation is under way after a driver rammed a Holden Commodore into a police car multiple times on Thursday evening.
A Police spokesman said police in a marked vehicle attempted to intercept the black Commodore at the carpark of a unit complex on Napier Street, Birkdale, at 7.20pm, in relation to a traffic offence.
“The Commodore has then driven into the police vehicle multiple times before fleeing the scene,” a spokesman said.
Police confirmed the officers in the car were not physically injured and are appealing to anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision of the Commodore to come forward.
Investigations remain ongoing.
