Man in custody after other man stabbed in chest at Logan Reserve

A man has been charged following the alleged serious assault (domestic violence offence) of another man in Logan Reserve on Thursday night.

A man has been charged following the alleged serious assault (domestic violence offence) of another man in Logan Reserve on Thursday night.

Shortly before midnight, police were called to Fleming St following reports a man had been seriously injured.

Initial investigations indicate a verbal altercation has occurred between two men who are known to each other and who are both aged thirty-nine and from Logan Reserve.

Detectives will allege the altercation became physical, with one man stabbing the other in the chest with a (weapon).

The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital where his condition remains unchanged.

The other man was charged with one count of Acts intended to cause Grievous Bodily Harm (domestic violence offence) and appeared in Richlands Magistrates Court on Friday after police refused his bail.
