Man dead after a truck and motorbike collided in Nerang
A collision between a truck and a motorcycle on the Gold Coast on Friday afternoon has ended tragically with the motorcyclist killed.

A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a truck on the Gold Coast on Friday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of Hope and Stevens streets, Nerang, about 1.30pm.
The 39-year-old riders was treated by an ambulance critical care unit but died at the scene.
The sole occupant of the truck, a 44-year-old man, was uninjured.
Queensland Police Service said the Forensic Crash Unit was investigating.
It said no diversions were in place as it did not occur on a major intersection, but heavy traffic had been reported on nearby Nerang Connection Rd.
