Police are seeking dashcam vision after a serious crash at Kybong in the Gympie region on Sunday afternoon.
Just before 1pm, emergency services were called to the Old Bruce Highway, near Traveston Crossing Road, following reports of a crash involving a white Suzuki Baleno sedan.
The driver and sole occupant, an 80-year-old man, sustained facial injuries and was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
It is believed the man had been driving from Brisbane towards Gympie in the hours prior to the crash.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle on the M1 or Old Bruce Highway, including anyone with dashcam vision of the white Suzuki Baleno, similar to one pictured above to come forward.
