Car crashes into pole, woman flown to hospital, Lanefield Road closed
Police are investigating a single vehicle crash after a women in her 60s ploughed into a pole south west of Brisbane, creating significant traffic delays and widespread power outages.

A women in her 60s is fighting her for life after crashing into a pole in Rosewood, south west of Brisbane.
Forensic Crash Unit are on site investigating the single vehicle crash.
The driver sustained serious injuries to her chest, abdomen, pelvis and leg and was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswomen reported the women was “significantly entrapped” in the vehicle and the cars roof had to be removed in order for the women to be freed.
Lanefield Road remains closed while the forensic unit investigate the cause of the crash and drivers are urged to avoid the area.
Power has been out across Rosewood since 10am this morning.
An Energex spokesman said 1714 customers were without power but it had almost been resolved.
Only about 12 were without power as of 2.15pm.
