Canungra fire station robbed by callous thieves

Police are investigating the theft of tools and equipment from a fire truck parked at a Scenic Rim station earlier this week.

Police are appealing for public assistance following the theft of multiple items from a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services vehicle at Canungra earlier this week.

Gold Coast police are investigating the theft of tools and equipment from a Queensland Fire and Rescue vehicle earlier this week.

Police say that on the evening of Wednesday, June 15, a group of unknown people accessed a building on Finch Rd. Canungra, in the Scenic Rim, and broke into a fire truck inside.

The unknown people then removed tools and equipment from the truck before fleeing, taking the items with them.

Police are appealing for public assistance following the theft of multiple items from a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services vehicle at Canungra earlier this week.

Investigations continue.

Police are asking for anyone with dashcam footage of the Finch Rd area on Wednesday evening, or may have witnessed anyone in the area, to come forward.
