Two-vehicle crash on Grafton Street and Aplin Street in Cairns
Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash between a van and a sedan in Cairns CBD.

A Queensland Police resprensentative confirmed that both vehicles involved in a two-vehicle crash in Cairns have been towed from the scene.
“Police at the crash which involved a white HiAce and a sedan on the corner of Aplin and Grafton streets said both vehicles remained at the scene after the crash,” she said.
“Both vehicles have since been towed from the scene.”
The road has now been cleared.
Earlier emergency services rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at a busy Cairns intersection.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers received the call about the crash on the corner of Grafton and Aplin streets at 12.30pm.
The spokeswoman said the car had been hit by another car at the traffic lights
She said police were investigating the incident.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics arrived on scene about 12.40pm and assessed two patients.
The spokeswoman said they both reported neck pain but declined transport to hospital.
