A man and woman have died following a crash between a motorbike and tractor on a remote Far North road.

A man and woman have died following a crash between a motorbike and tractor on a remote Far North road.
It is understood the crash occurred on Cape Tribulation Rd between a motorcycle carrying two people and a tractor about 10.30am on Saturday.
The rider, a man in his 60s, suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
The passenger on the motorcycle, a woman in her 30s, was taken to Cairns Hospital where she later died.
The driver of the tractor, a 67-year-old Lower Daintree man, was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
Following the death of 26-year-old Jesse Rodman on Thursday there have been three people killed on Far North roads in as many days.
The latest double fatality brings the region’s road toll since January 1 to 32 lives lost.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of a silver motorcycle with two people on it travelling north along Mossman Daintree Road to come forward.
