A YOUNG business owner has taken over a laser tag place in Cairns with the intention to make laser tag the place to be for adults and not just children.
Laserfun Cairns at DFO in Westcourt has been taken over by 25-year-old Rohit Gupta.
“My goal is to actually change the perspective of people that laser tag is meant just for kids, it’s definitely not. I am 25-years-old and I love laser tag,” he said.
“I have introduced a BYO policy right now. To also attract young people. My goal with this place is to be a place where people want to have fun and play laser tag.”
Mr Gupta said the place will be unrecognisable. There is a lot of new artwork by local artist Kane Maneylaws.
“Its really laser tag based and the entire vibe of the place is aliens tagging earth and humans trying to protect earth using the lasers,” he said.
“We’ve got all sorts of upgrades there, new neon laser lights and decor.”
