FNQ man dies in single car crash
A man has died after a single vehicle crash near a well-known fishing spot on the Atherton Tablelands. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

EMERGENCY services were called a fatal car crash near a popular fishing destination on the Atherton Tablelands on Sunday morning.
Police have confirmed they are investigating after a man died in a single vehicle crash at Tinaroo on Sunday.
Police said that preliminary information suggests the 53-year-old man had been driving along Burton Rd when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
The Tinaroo man suffered significant injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Tinaroo is located around 88km southwest of Cairns.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service also reported they had crews attend the incident at around 10:37am.
