Police have confirmed a major development in the search for a missing Clifton Beach man.

In a short announcement, Queensland Police reported that a 52-year-old man reported missing from Clifton Beach has been located safe and well.

“Police thank the public and media for their assistance,” the report said.
MISSING FROM CLIFTON BEACH
DANIEL Srhoj, 52, has been missing since 1.30pm Tuesday, September 20, and police are requesting the public’s assistance to find him.
The Clifton Beach man was last seen at a Captain Cook Highway shopping complex at Clifton Beach.
He was wearing a black polo shirt with red, grey and white fishing motifs, blue shorts and dark runners.
He was carrying a large, black backpack.
Police described Mr Srhoj as caucasian, about 176cm tall and proportionately built. He has blue eyes, short brown-grey hair and a short beard.
Police are concerned because they say Mr Srhoj’s disappearance is out of character.
Police have asked anyone with information about Mr Srhoj’s location to contact them.
