The second 14-year-old girl who had been missing in Cairns for about 15 days has been found safe and well.
The girl had been reported missing since September 9, although had been sighted on a few occasions including on September 15 at Trinity Beach.
It was believed she was initially with another 14-year-old girl that went missing on September 14 after she was last seen at school on Hoare Street in Manunda.
That girl was found safe and well on September 21.
FIRST TEEN FOUND
One of the two 14-year-old girls missing has been found safe and well but police are still asking for help to locate the second teen who was reported missing on September 9.
The girl was reported missing weeks ago but was last seen on September 15 in the Trinity Bay area.
She is described as Pacific Islander in appearance with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Police are urging anyone with any information about her whereabouts to come forward.
TWO GIRLS MISSING
ALARM bells have been raised after two young girls, both 14, have been reported missing in Cairns.
One of the 14-year-old girls was reported missing on September 9, but was last seen on September 15 in the Trinity Bay area.
She is described as Pacific Islander in appearance with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.
The second 14-year-old girl was last seen at a school on Hoare Street in Manunda at 3pm on September 14.
She is First Nations in appearance, approximately 160cm tall with a proportionate build with brown hair and eyes.
It’s believed the girls are travelling in the Cairns area together.
Police and family hold concerns for their welfare due to their young age.
Investigators urge the girls, or anyone with information regarding their whereabouts, to contact police.
