TikToker shares 'Giant Chicken McNugget' Maccas hack and people are losing it

The secret off-menu trick costs just $2.30 instead of $7.70 for six nuggets.

Have you ever wished there was a giant version of your favourite food? Like it’s original format is simply not enough?

For me, it’s olives. I have to eat, between 20-25 olives, AT LEAST, in order to feel satisfied. 

‘Wouldn’t it be easier if they just made one, big olive the size of a tomato?’ I often think to myself while spitting out pit after pit.

It would just make so much more sense, logistically. But alas, I’ll have to wait for some genetically modified super-olive to be invented for that to be a reality. 

But for one TikToker, a giant version of her favourite food - Maccas nuggets - actually does exist. And apparently, it’s been in front of us this whole time, you just have to know the right way to order it, (hint: it’s off-menu!).

"It tastes just like a nugget, but bigger and cheaper"

Taking to her account, food influencer Bec Hardgrave enlightened her 153k followers, by sharing the simple trick that lets you order a ‘Giant Chicken McNugget.’

Sitting in her car holding a Maccas takeaway bag she says, “I’m trying the giant chicken McNuggets at McDonalds. Okay, they’re not exactly called that, but they pretty much are. 

“Apparently McDonald’s uses the same coating on their nuggets as the McChicken patties so all you need to do is order a McChicken patty on its own and it’s only $2.30, versus paying $7.70 for six nuggets,” she continues.

Bec then holds up one of the two McChicken patties that she’s bought and one looks to be about the same size as three regular nuggets. 

“You know when you just want to have a few extra nuggets with your meal but they’re just so expensive on their own? Try this instead.”

She then dips it into “the best sauce combo,” aka a mix of mayo and sweet and sour sauce, and the *CRUNCH* is so loud as she bites into it. 

“It tastes just like a nugget, but bigger and cheaper!” she concludes. “Definitely try this hack.”

"Best Maccas hack there is"

People were torn in the comments. Some people loved the idea, with one calling it the, “best Maccas hack there is.”

“You mean I can just order a McChicken fillet and they won’t say no?” said another surprised fan.

“This looks so good, Maccas nuggets are way too expensive,” chimed in a third. 

“OMG, I'm going there tomorrow. How has no one shared this before?” said a fourth.

But others said they weren’t comparable to regular nuggets. 

“Those are nowhere near McNuggets lmao,” said one user. 

“NOOOOO THEY'RE NOT THE SAME !!!! C’mon,” said someone else. 

But Bec insisted, “It tastes better I swear 😂”
