The pair performed the US crooner’s hit single “Lost Control” before continuing into a rendition of Rihanna’s “Stay”.
Naturally, the musical moment was posted to social media with fans expressing their excitement and jealousy that they missed the free concert.
“Wish I went to work today!” one Reddit user said.
“Wow. Love Teddy Swims. Now need to check out Inoxia,” another commented.
“I was literally just watching (Inoxia’s) TikTok and got a notification to this post, crazy,” a third wrote.
Swims kicked off the Australian leg of his “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour” on Tuesday night, performing a sold-out show at Riverstage.
The singer-songwriter, known for blending the genres of RnB, country, and pop into his music, has been spotted busking in multiple countries while on tour.
Last week, Swims took to the New Zealand streets to perform after hitting the Christchurch Town Hall the night before.
Swims will head around the country, performing for sold-out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth later this month.
