This neo-western plays like an Aussie version of Yellowstone. It’s set in the Top End where – we’re told in the opening narration – “everything is trying to kill you: the land, the climate, the animals”.

Domineering cattle rancher Colin Lawson (Robert Taylor) is trying to cling on to his empire in the face of financial ruin.

When Lawson’s heir meets an untimely end, the vultures begin circling. Lawson’s family has many enemies, but the biggest threat to their survival is their own infighting.
