SHE is one of the most successful Olympians Australia has ever seen but Leisel Jones has her sights set on claiming a new title, and it might surprise you.
The swimming legend revealed her dreams to compete in the Great Australian Bake Off in an interview with Samara Wheeler, 12, for The Courier-Mail’s online series, Tiny Edition, where kids interview celebrities.
“My secret talent is I can bake very well,” she tells Samara.
“I’m a very good baker, I would love to go on The Great Australian Bake Off because I think I’d probably win it.”

It was one of the more surprising responses from Jones who also shared her ‘biggest regret’ in life, how she feels about having a street named after her, and what it was like in the Olympic village at the age of 15. Jones’ explains how she found her latest career in radio with the ex-swimmer a co-host on Triple M’s The Rush Hour.

It comes as Jones was recently nominated for her first radio award and named a finalist for Best new Talent On Air – Radio (Metro, Provincial, Country) at The Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) which are on tonight.
