When it comes to designing her own homewares range, entertainer extraordinaire Chyka Keebaugh is “150 per cent involved’’.
“I’m choosing Pantone colours because I want anything that’s got my name to it to be something that I absolutely want and need in my own cupboard at home – so this is what I love,’’ she says.
“This green is perfection, I think food just looks beautiful on it – and I really wanted to make sure that I could tie it back in with other things.
“This is an absolute labour of love. And it’s been a dream to create.’’
As for her favourite items – the bamboo cutlery always features on her table, and the new Sweet Pea range which was inspired by a trip to the south of France.
“I just loved all the vegetables everywhere and I love the idea of putting vegetables on a plate that you can then use and mix back in,’’ she says.
“So this is a range I’m really excited about launching. I just think it’s fresh and it’s exciting and it’s new.
“The way I entertain is a bit like this – lots of beautiful food on the table that people can pick and choose from, and grazing all day long,’’ she said.
As for the bamboo – “it gives a really fun, fresh, clean look to any table setting’’.
