Fitness influencer Sophie Guidolin and her husband, Gold Coast dentist Andrew Firgaira, have called it quits just weeks after they tragically lost their daughter.

Fitness influencer Sophie Guidolin has called it quits with her husband of four months just weeks after their daughter was delivered stillborn.
After dating for less than a year, the influencer tied the knot with Gold Coast dentist Dr Andrew Firgaira in a picturesque wedding in Byron Bay in November, before announcing soon after they were expecting.
Sadly, the couple lost their baby in late January, with Sophie announcing the loss on Instagram with a trigger warning.
“I cannot begin to articulate my pain, greif (sic) and despair through my entire soul. On Wednesday, Jan 25th, a day I will never forget, my life was changed forever. “I gave birth to a beautiful little girl, Pixie ️via C-section, stillborn.”
“I am trying to trust in god’s timing and I have always believed that the universe has my back and no matter how confusing this all feels, I am trying to make sense of this grief with my faith.”
Since the loss of baby Pixie, the 33-year old fitness guru stopped posting photos of Mr Firgaira on her social media and deleted all photos of them together, including their wedding shots.
Fans had questioned whether the couple were still together during Ms Guidolin’s pregnancy after she posted a photograph of herself “alone in hospital” due to severe morning sickness, as Mr Firgaira reportedly holidayed in Europe.
“Spending my Sunday alone in hospital” the post read, with a crying emoji.
After being questioned by her fans about her husband’s whereabouts, she responded by claiming that he was on a European vacation.
After weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship status, Mr Firgaira confirmed on Wednesday, via Instagram, that he and Sophie had split.
“In order to remove the constant speculation I’ll answer this once by saying we are no longer together,” the comment read
“I have my reasons why and I’m not prepared to discuss this matter any further.”
He said the reason he has gone public with the break-up was for mental health purposes, and has requested his followers stop commenting on his relationship status.
“The purpose of this post is to raise awareness around the importance of looking after our mental health,” the comment read.
“I would also ask everyone to refrain from any further comments relating to my recent relationship as nothing positive can come from discussing it further.”
Ms Guidolin has been in other high-profile relationships, including dating Married At First Sight star Jake Edwards back in 2021.
The pair announced their split in August 2021, resulting in a messy Instagram feud, involving Mr Edwards’ close friend, radio host Mel Grieg.
It was revealed that Ms Guidolin expressed discomfort with her then-partner’s friendship with Ms Grieg.
“Sophie is not comfortable with Jake and I being friends and being in contact,” Ms Grieg wrote on Instagram
“Sophie felt uncomfortable with our friendship and felt that Jake was crossing boundaries and being disrespectful by being my friend and that played a big part in the break-up.
“Jake won’t be happy with me sharing this (sorry Jake) but I’m actually sick of seeing my friend smashed.”
Ms Guidolin has four children - including twin girls she shares with bodybuilder ex-husband, Nathan Wallace, who she quietly parted ways with in 2019, after four years of marriage.
