'I looked outside and saw my neighbour's face through the fence'

“I don’t know if I’m just going crazy, but I feel like this is really weird,” said the horrified mum-of-two.

Kelsey just moved into a new house with her husband, four-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.

Her son was having a short tantrum, throwing his clothes around the room and refusing the let his mother change him.

But what she saw next left her horrified

Woman horrified after neighbour secretly cut hole in fence

“My neighbour is standing at the fence screaming at me”

The Floridian mum-of-two recalled when she was trying to change her children's clothing in their house's bathroom.

“There’s a door that connects to the bathroom,” she explained in the clip. “I had my daughter in the bathroom with me and the door open; [my son] was right next to me.”

Her son was screaming and crying, which was “no big deal” and lasted for “like a minute.”

But her ears pricked up when she heard another voice coming outside. The sound was coming from near her swimming pool, right next to her neighbour’s house.

Looking up, Kelsey was taken aback when she saw her neighbour’s face sticking out of a hole in the fence separating the two properties, watching her and the two kids in their house.

“He comes out of the house and is standing at the fence screaming at me,” she explained.

“I have no idea what he said, to be honest. My son was screaming and I’m home alone, so I was a little uncomfortable.”

Understandably, she was horrified by the interaction.

Kelsey recalled the neighbour creating the large hole in the fence a little while after they moved in, tearing a large portion of the metal sheet down, and revealing part of the neighbour’s backyard.

But that also means the neighbour can see Kelsey’s backyard, including their swimming pool and part of their house.

No, thank you!

“Time to get a big-ass guard dog!”

The TikTok went viral, amassing over two million views and leaving the audience horrified by the neighbour’s invasion of privacy.

She asked her audience if she was “just going crazy” or if her concerns were valid. “Like, he created a whole entire hole,” she said. “This is weird!”

Many pointed out the lattice attached to the top of the fence, which indicated that the previous owners may have experienced troubles with the same neighbour.

However, Kelsey later clarified that her neighbour installed the extension themselves, making the entire situation even weirder.

Generally, the community were petrified by the act, labelling it a “huge red flag.”

Someone wrote, “That hole is very suspiciously placed. I’d get a piece of tin or metal to put in front of it.”

“Oh hell no,” read a comment. “I don’t like that it’s right there in front of the pool, either…”

“Get that blocked up now!” an impassioned person pleaded.

In a later clip, Kelsey showed how she managed to block the neighbour from sight by installing a bamboo fence roll in front of the fence.  However, the family wasn't in the clear just yet.

“I feel like you can still see through it,” she complained, to which others instructed her to double up on the screens for added privacy.

“Add another one. Layer it,” someone said. “I had bamboo fencing but had to double it not to see through it,” read another.

Alternatively, “time to get a big-ass guard dog.”
