I was quoted $3k to get my bathroom regrouted - then I found a $30 miracle cleaner

You know when they say if it’s too good to be true, it probably is? Well, this miracle cleaner is even better than they promise!

Mums genius hack means no cleaning up mess

Bleach, baking soda, detergent, shower spray, bicarb, warm water, cold water, lemons, shampoo…

I tried every hack to get rid of the disgusting black mould in my bathroom to no avail.

I resigned to the idea that perhaps the grout was beyond saving, and we’d need to strip it out and redo it.

I jumped onto Google, searched for some grouting businesses to give us a quote, and knew we were in for a big expense.

Sorry, how much?!

I have a teeny tiny bathroom.

I’m talking 1.5m x 2.1m teeny tiny.

And while I am not naive and understand services cost both time and work, I wasn’t expecting to be quoted close to $3k to have the walls re-grouted.

Unfortunately, that’s not the kind of coin I’m able to part with right now.

The issue with mould

But I knew not only is mould unsightly, it’s also dangerous.

Black mould, often lurking in moist bathrooms, is a serious health concern.

It produces mycotoxins, harmful substances that can trigger respiratory problems and allergies and even impact brain function.

Continuous exposure may lead to long-term health issues.

Thank you, Facebook!

Everyone knows when you start searching for a product or service, it quickly overruns your social feed.

That’s when I came across GLASSGUARD™ Miracle Mould Removal Gel.

"Absolutely astounded by these results!" shared one reviewer.

Another shared, "A product that actually does what it says it will! 100% recommend"

With over 1,300 similar reviews, my “this is too good to be true” sixth sense still kicked in, and I was sceptical.

But like I said, I’d tried everything else, and I thought it was either $30 or $3k- I opted for the former.

Best $30 I have ever spent

Now, before you jump in the comments and say this is a paid review or I got the product for free, I’m here to let you know this is neither.

I used my own money, and they didn’t promise me free products for a review, tickets to Taylor Swift or an exotic holiday.

We applied the gel directly onto the grout and left it for a few hours before washing it off.

And as the water ran down the tiles, the black mould disappeared.

It felt like all my birthdays and Christmases had come at once, and I stared at the tiles in utter disbelief.

My mind was blown and had I not been standing in the bathroom washing it off, I wouldn’t have believed it if it were just a photo.

The product not only cleans the grout, it kills the mould too, so you get the benefit of really good-looking grout, and your health is no longer compromised either.

It’s nice to find a product that does what it says- and saves you thousands of dollars, too!
