Move over Bunnings, there’s a new budget pool making waves online.
Kmart shoppers are going wild over a three-metre backyard swimming pool they have described as the “best $59 buy for a hot summer’s day’.
The Bestway Fast 10-foot portable pool, which includes one filter pump and repair patch, can hold up to 3,900 litres of water — and with a few extra pair of hands, installation can take just 10 minutes.

Those who have managed to nab the bargain buy have left 5-star reviews on the Kmart website.
“Pretty good for the price. Wish the pump was a bit more powerful … but you get what you pay for,” one customer wrote.
“Love mine. Use it heaps. My kids all over 18. They love it,” another added.
“Even if it only lasts one season … so worth it. On a hot day it’ll be the best $60 ever spent,” a third person wrote.

A fourth admitted it takes “a little longer” than the advertised 10 minutes to set up, but “otherwise [it’s] great.”
It comes after retail giant Bunnings dropped its “cheap” four metre above ground pool ahead of Christmas.
The Bestway Rectangular Pool Set Rectangle Pool costs $490 — a fraction of the price of having one built – and it too was met with rave reviews online.
“Just wanted to appreciate this Bunnings pool for under $500,” one woman rote in the Bunnings Mums, Inspiration, Hacks, Tips and Tricks group on Facebook.
“It is so decent and great size,” a second person wrote.

“We just got this. Kids love it. Have the pump going and chlorine and no issues so far,” another happy customer added.
While many praised the bargain pool, others pointed out that the ground must be levelled otherwise the pool will “fill up unevenly and it’s a nightmare”.
“Great pool just make sure it’s on even ground when filling,” one woman said, while another added: “Needs to be 100 per cent level otherwise it will pour over one edge and flood your yard.”
However, some commenters were quick to point out a potential safety issue with the pool.
According to NSW regulations, all portable and inflatable pools capable of being filled to a depth of greater than 300mm of water require a child proof fence.
“The size of this particular pool is well beyond 300mm of water,” the commenter claimed, estimating a pool of this size “holds 9600 litres”.
