Bunnings shoppers going crazy for ‘cheap’ 4 metre pool

The hardware giant is selling an item most homeowners can’t afford for an irresistible price – and shoppers are going crazy.

Bunnings has dropped a new bargain ahead of Christmas and shoppers definitely approve.

The retail giant is selling a giant pool for a fraction of the price of having one built – and as one woman has pointed out, it is perfect for summer.

“Just wanted to appreciate this Bunnings pool for under $500,” the woman named Vikki wrote in the Bunnings Mums, Inspiration, Hacks, Tips and Tricks page, which has almost 100,000 members.

“It is so decent and great size.

“For any one who wants one, they are not online and there’s no click or collect.

“Use the item number in the picture and call your stores or the Bunnings headquarters number and they will tell you who has it and you can buy off the shelf.”

A woman has shared a Bunnings find that saves shoppers a steal on installing a real pool.

The Bestway Rectangular Pool Set Rectangle Pool is a 4.1m x 2m above ground pool that costs $490. It comes with a Power Steel Frame, pump and ladder.

Many Bunnings fans thanked the mother for sharing her find and said they were looking forward to finally owning a pool over the summer.

“Thank you for posting about this pool,” one person posted. “I finally tracked one down. Picking it up on the weekend.”

“Wow, so cheap,” said another impressed Facebook user.

However, some commenters were quick to point out a potential safety issue with the pool.

According to NSW regulations, all portable and inflatable pools capable of being filled to a depth of greater than 300mm of water require a child proof fence.

“The size of this particular pool is well beyond 300mm of water,” the commenter claimed, estimating a pool of this size “holds 9600 litres”.
