Christmas is creeping up quickly, and while restaurants are close to booking out their lunch spreads for the big day, there’s still plenty of options available around Brisbane.
For those who’d rather be treated during the silly season rather than slave away in the kitchen cooking up a storm, plenty of venues around the city are offering up full lunch spread for Christmas Day.
For Amelia and Daniel Miletic from One Fish Two Fish in Kangaroo Point, the entire restaurant has almost booked out for the annual Christmas Lunch.
“Everyone has busy lives. It’s great for people to get together but it’s also nice to not have two days off and have to cook and clean up,” Ms Miletic said.
“We are here to welcome people into our home for a fabulous Christmas lunch where they can eat and drink whatever they want and we can do the dishes.”
The seafood boxes full, as one of the takeaway options, are the most popular on the day with Mr Miletic hand peeling 126kg of prawns last year for hungry customers.
Some restaurants have already booked out entirely, including Balfour Kitchen and Bar in New Farm, Brisbane Golf Club, Hotel West End, Mary Maes and The Regatta.
