With celebrity cooking demonstrations, pop-up bars and restaurants, entertainment and fireworks, here is your ultimate guide to this year’s Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival.

The much-loved annual Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival kicks off this Friday with three delicious days of eating and drinking.

It will be packed with celebrity cooking demonstrations from the likes of Alastair McLeod, Georgia Barnes and Dom Rizzo, pop-up bars and restaurants, entertainment and fireworks.

If you’re thinking about heading to Apex Park at Woody Point for the event this weekend, here are seven must-try activities:

1. He is the star judge on My Kitchen Rules, now see TV chef Manu Feildel’s top tips in the kitchen during a variety of special cooking demonstrations on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

2. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a cooking display from Aussie dessert king Adriano Zumbo on the Sweets and Treats stage on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

3. Are you the ultimate beer pong champion?

If you think you’ve got what it takes, join in the BrewsFest beer pong tournament where you can challenge your mates and the crowds between 1pm-3pm from Friday to Sunday.

You can then celebrate your win or commiserate your loss with a beer or cider from one of a host of breweries including Stone & Wood, Straddie Brewing Co and Brick Lane Brewing.

4. Get the party started with a drink, or three, at the Mr Consistent Cocktail Bar inside The Oasis precinct. Espresso martinis and margaritas will be served all weekend.

5. Take the festival’s local producer trail and discover a myriad of producers from the local Moreton Bay region, including Ocean View Estates wines, Hip Hops Brewers, Oscar & Co. chocolates, Moreton Bay Coffee Co and many more.

6. Bring a picnic blanket and settle in for an afternoon of jazz and wine in the cellar door precinct, serving an extensive array of vino and snacks such as cheese and charcuterie

7. For the ultimate festival experience, consider buying a VIP ticket ($169 + booking fee).
