MR Percival’s is set to be the name on everyone’s lips this summer when the glamorous new overwater bar opens in Brisbane on Thursday.

“It’s going to be a beautiful place to come and have lunch or dinner and enjoy some gorgeous seafood and a spritz and take in the views of Brisbane River,” said HSW founder Adam Flaskas.
The 340-seat octagonal bar, designed by acclaimed Brisbane interior designer Anna Spiro, is inspired by the rotundas found in parks across the capital city and features an eclectic, retro-inspired fit-out.
The menu will be dominated by fresh seafood with former The Fish House chef Damien Styles in the kitchen serving everything from oysters on ice to prawn cocktails and lobster rolls. Cocktails and quality wine will also be a focus.
Mr Percival’s is the second building to open in the new HSW precinct following the much-hyped launch of Brisbane’s first riverfronting brewery Felon’s last week.
“Felons has had a fantastic response after opening and the feedback is everyone is loving the space,” said Mr Flaskas.
“This is a bit of a milestone to open Mr Percival’s and there will be more venues to come and open each week.”
The next big opening will be Greek eatery Greca from acclaimed interstate chef/restaurateur Jonathan Barthelmess which will launch on December 8.
The much-anticipated new modern Chinese eatery Stanley and Japanese restaurant Toko from Sydney’s Matt Yazbek have had their launches pushed back til January following building delays.
