The Sizzler-style cheese bread burger will be just one of a series of new items to hit Burger Urge’s menu as part of a major revamp of the brand.

In a statement, Burger Urge co-founder Sean Carthew said from March 4 the chain’s core menu will consist of the cheese bread burger, a thicc chicc double-chicken burger, a hot wing

challenge with three super-hot sauces, Kentucky fried cauliflower, chicken tenders and vegetarian burgers for children.

It will also add shake stations across stores as part of new fit-outs and a marketing rebrand.

“The Way Burgers Should be is more than a marketing slogan, this is the mantra that sums up

how we feel about Burger Urge and how we want others to see us as well,” Mr Carthew said.

“Our business is changing and our brand needs to change to match that and to articulate to

the public exactly what we stand for.”

Burger Urge opened its first store in Fortitude Valley in 2007 and now has 27 stores across three states.
