SOME of the country’s best-known chefs and foodies will converge on Brisbane in a fortnight for the 10th annual Regional Flavours festival.

Celebrating food and drink grown and produced across Queensland, the two-day event will feature MasterChef judges George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston hosting cooking demonstrations, alongside market stalls, wine tastings, live entertainment and kids’ activities at South Bank on July 21-22.

Walter’s Steakhouse, Brisbane, chef Adam Herbert and former MasterChef runner-up Georgia Barnes will teach audiences how to cook meat at the festival’s Hunting Club. “This will be my fourth Regional Flavours in a row (and) I say it every year, but it’s my favourite foodie event and it just gets better and better,” Barnes said.
