Brisbane’s southwest is set to welcome a growing national burger chain with the opening of Hello Harry in Jindalee.
Moving into the recently refurbished Jindalee DFO, which has undergone $15m worth of upgrades, the burger joint will specialise in hand-rolled meat patties and locally sourced fruit and vegetables for their fillings.
The 70-seat store will be the 14th franchise in Australia for the burgeoning brand and will be run by hospitality veterans and husband and wife Jay and Inga Robinson.
“We’ve seen the (Hello Harry) brand grow over the past few years and we feel there is still a lot of growth in the burger market, especially those like Hello Harry which are made fresh, in-house daily using only local produce,” Mrs Robinson said.
The burgers will start at just $11 for their classic grass-fed beef burger and go up to $24 for their famous “Dirty Harry” creation with two beef patties, double cheese, grilled chicken, bacon, pickles, mustard, tomato jam and mayo.
The store will also offer a special vegan range using plant-based patties and grilled mushrooms; in addition to salads, fries, onion rings, desserts and mozzarella sticks.
The venue will be licensed, serving a range of wine and craft beers, plus milk and thick shakes.
It will open November 23.
