It was named Queensland’s No.1 restaurant in the 2022 delicious. 100, now Restaurant Dan Arnold in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley is getting set to unveil a major overhaul.
The European-leaning fine diner has undergone a makeover, introducing a semi-private dining room in the centre of the 45-seater, dramatically changing the look and feel of the venue.
“We’ve always had a request for a semi-private area and whe’ve never been able to facilitate it so this is a way to tap into that market,” said owner-chef Dan Arnold, revealing they removed four tables from the entry of the restaurant to make way for the instalment.
The new room is bordered with LED-lit timber panels and soft curtains and can hold up to 12 guests for everything from romantic dinners to small functions.
While diners will be able to order the restaurant’s usual three-, five or eight-course set menus in the fresh space, Mr Arnold said he was also considering it for bespoke events built around different ingredients.
“It could be a good way to do a wine dinner … or maybe a grain-focused menu or something with seafood,” he said.
“It will be dictated by our customers.”
The semi-private dining room is available now for bookings.
