An Australian food content creator has given a glimpse into a very popular fast food chain in another country.

An Australian food content creator has given a glimpse into another country’s very popular fast food chain.

Adrian Widjy, also known as Places In Sydney on social media, recently visited a Macca’s in Thailand. Mr Widjy was specifically trying the My Melody collection.

Items included a truffle ham and cheese pie, which Mr Widjy rated an eight out of 10. He revealed it retailed for just $2.50 once converted.

He also tried a sweet and savory black pepper chicken burger, which he called “so juicy”. It came with a tote bag, putting the price tag at $23.

But, Mr Widjy’s favourite item was the Blueberry Crumble McFlurry, which he scored at full marks. Again, once converted, it had a price tag of $2.75.

Social media users had a huge reaction to the clip.

“OMG,” one simply said, while another said that McDonald’s in Thailand “looks so cute”.

Another social media user added: “OMG that all looks so delish.”

“Yummmm!!! Love this Macca’s snapshot,” another added.

One social media user commented: “Are you there now!!! Get extras for me.”

Another commented: “Truffle ham cheese pie looks delicious.”

“OMG maccas look so good over there,” another said.

One reminded Mr Widjy not to forget the fried chicken tomyam, which is what Macca’s in Thailand is known for. He also tried the chicken and rice dish, declaring it spicy, and curly fries.

It’s not the first time that Aussies have loved to get a look at what Macca’s looks like in another country. A clip went viral of Jeremy Franco trying McDonald’s in the south of France in 2022.

Mr Franco ordered french fries, a beef burger with avocado, nuggets with a variety of sauces and a Coke.

“I have to specify south of France so you think I’m cool,” he said, before presenting the french fries.

“The options were like this or wedges but I didn’t want to do that.”

He also revealed that soft drinks didn’t come with straws but instead a hole in the lid to drink from.

Mr Franco bit into the beef burger with avocado, revealing there was also a pesto option but he wasn’t keen on it.

“I love that, I love that so much,” Mr Franco said in the TikTok video.

“Actually, I don’t love that.”

However Mr Franco said he was most keen to try the sauces after his followers told him that the sauces in France were the best.
