Aussie TikToker wowed by how different Macca’s is in France

You want pesto with that? Aussie social media star Jeremy Franco has shared how he was blown away by all the strange menu options.

An Australian TikTok star has shared his take on how McDonald’s fares in the south of France.

Jeremy Franco, known as @jezbreezy online, has been sharing his European adventures online over the past fortnight, visiting places such as France and Portugal.

The latest clip showed him trying McDonald’s in the south of France for the first time.

Mr Franco ordered french fries, a beef burger with avocado, nuggets with a variety of sauces and a Coke.

“I have to specify south of France so you think I’m cool,” he said, before presenting the french fries.

“The options were like this or wedges but I didn’t want to do that.”

He also revealed that soft drinks didn’t come with straws but instead a hole in the lid to drink from.

Mr Franco bit into the beef burger with avocado, revealing there was also a pesto option but he wasn’t keen on it.

He was quick to point out the bread was different and the meat looked a little grey compared to Australian McDonald’s burgers.

“I love that, I love that so much,” Mr Franco said in the TikTok video.

“Actually, I don’t love that.”

However Mr Franco said he was most keen to try the sauces after his followers told him that the sauces in France were the best.

A taste test of the Chinese sauce revealed it was similar to what Aussies know as sweet and sour sauce.

Overall, Franco was happy with his order and what Macca’s France presented.

The video has garnered a lot of attention, with some providing insight into other McDonald’s around the word.

“Why [are you] eating this in the south of France! This would be the last thing I would eat there,” one person said.

Another added: “Had McDonald’s in America and the burger buns are flat but somehow it’s still OK.”

A third recommended sweet chilli sauce at German McDonald’s.

Others said the pommes frites sauce was best with the fries and others said the wedges “slapped” and Franco should have opted for those instead.
