“My goal as a fitness professional is, and will always be, to make exercise accessible to as much of the population as possible. I’m stoked to be living out that goal every single day,” she said.

Ms Costello said she was “stoked” to finish in the Top. 10.

“Brisbane is a hub for so many incredible fitness professionals and leaders in our field, so it’s a huge accolade to be recognised among the top of these – what a nice start to 2023,” she said.

In his role as the Brisbane Lions Boxing Coach, Chris Rose works with elite athletes at the peak of their game.

“As a trainer, I enjoy working with a huge range of clients from absolute beginners who haven’t exercised in years, to both professionals and up-and-coming stars,” he said.

“I don’t promise the world to clients in 8 weeks or less. I am about hard work, dedication and a maintainable balanced lifestyle. I am a big believer that good things take time.

Speaking of his placement in the top 10, Mr Rose said he was shocked to be nominated in the first place.

”To finish in the Top. 10, among so many well established and respected Personal Trainers is really humbling. I’m very grateful to everyone who voted,” he said.

“I’m not really one for talking about myself, but I guess I would want people to know that I really do enjoy what I do. I know how fortunate I am to have a career and a business that allow me to maintain a lifestyle I value, connect with pretty incredible people everyday, and make a real impact in peoples lives.”

When we told Tilli Conias she was voted Brisbane’s Best Personal Trainer she was initially speechless.

“I cannot believe it and I genuinely did not think in any world that I would win this,” she said.

In the middle of training a client at the time, Ms Conias said she couldn’t wipe the smile off her face and teared up a little.

“To all of my clients, friends, family and everyone who voted for me I am beyond thankful to each and every one of you,” she said, when asked what she would like to say to those who voted for her.

“There were only 2 votes separating first and second place, I am so appreciative to everyone who subscribed and voted. I am a one-man band so to speak, I’m not affiliated with a gym so to be able to spread the word like this about my business is more impactful than you realise.”

With plans to launch an online workout platform later this year, Ms Conias wants to make accessing fitness easier for all clients.

“I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without the support of my husband who does kindy and school drop off every morning so that I can work. He’s my hero and such an incredible support for me and our two girls,” she said.

Describing her clients and her daughters as inspiration, Ms Conias hopes to inspire other mothers to reach their potential.

“I struggled with post natal depression after my first baby and turned to fitness which helped pull me out,” she said.

“Moving your body, gaining strength and realising your potential and growth through fitness speaks louder than words. I see this day in day out and it is truly what drives me.

“I’m an ambassador for mental health and fitness is a huge contributor to spreading awareness.

“Get moving my friends no matter your age or fitness level and above all have fun. That’s the most important part of it all.”
